ABOUT MYSELF
From Ukraine to the United States, my life has been a journey driven by the value of education. As an immigrant, I embraced the opportunities of a new country and overcame language barriers to build a brighter future. Becoming a teacher, I found my true passion in guiding young minds and nurturing their potential. With two children of my own attending the Lyndhurst schools, the importance of quality education is deeply ingrained in my heart. Now, fueled by my interest in advocating for educational excellence, I am eager to run for the Lyndhurst Board of Education, committed to shaping a better tomorrow for our community through the power of knowledge and growth.

- Equitable Education:
- Advocate for equal access to quality education for all students, regardless of their background, socioeconomic status, or abilities.
- Push for equitable allocation of resources to ensure that every school in the district has the necessary tools and support for student success.
- Promote programs that address achievement gaps and foster inclusivity and diversity in the classroom.
- Strong Curriculum:
- Work with educators and administrators to develop a robust and well-rounded curriculum that prepares students for a rapidly changing world.
- Response to Intervention (RTI) is a crucial framework in schools, as it plays a pivotal role in identifying and supporting students' diverse learning needs. By offering a systematic and data-driven approach to early intervention, RTI ensures that no student is left behind. It enables educators to promptly detect academic or behavioral challenges, tailor interventions to individual students, and monitor progress effectively. This proactive approach not only fosters academic growth but also helps prevent students from falling behind, reducing the need for more intensive and costly interventions later on. Ultimately, RTI promotes educational equity by striving to meet each student where they are, providing the necessary assistance, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically.
